Big-ass overhaul. will be released before 2023


I moved. Then my computer broke.  And then  Some personal life stuff and bad mental health so basically this project has been on hiatus for 3-4 months but In this time I realized there is a lot of issues with the demo which I need to overhaul. I’ve been able to contemplate the game and receive feedback for 3-4 months now. I considered the Issues insignificant at the time and instead began work on Atlas’ story which is about 25% complete at this point. Since continuing the project I have set a list of goals for the newest version. But now I am thinking I really need to polish Ambers story a little before I continue.

-major plot retcons with better worldbuilding,characterization and most importantly making the villains more fleshed out and more menacing . The characters aren’t one dimensional but come across that way because I didn’t have enough screen time for them to show more in depth aspects of their characters. I was concerned about not having to many sections of dialogue but then I thought “wait a minute this is a fucking srpg with visual novel elements that’s sort of the whole point”. 

-adding a new character in chapter 3 since 7 is too few and several people found it extremely hard even on the easiest difficulty. He will be a Sergal archer named owaine.  archers are way better in this game then they are in FE GBA.Thay have  2-3 range and an additional +1 range at lv 10. They  won’t be like Wil  from FE7.

-dialogue options and choices in general will have a much more significant impact than they currently do. 

- a few tweaks to animations.

-equipment will be shown when the cursor is above the character. 

-characters will be closer together in the combat animations to avoid pointless repetitive frames of them running towards each other for a long ass time. They will still run towards each other but it will be only about 1/3 of the frames and distance.

-removing some graphics I don’t like.
